Annetta Meeker-O'Connell

Bio:

Ann Meeker-O Connell has over 25 years of experience in medical product development, spanning trial design, clinical operations, enterprise risk management, and quality. She currently serves as Executive Director and Monitoring Excellence Head at Novartis. Prior to this role, Ann led the Office of Clinical Policy, Office of the Commissioner at FDA with responsibility for cross-cutting policy related to clinical development and bioethics. She has also served as an executive quality leader for R&D at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, IQVIA, and Johnson & Johnson, and in prior FDA service as the Director of the Division of Good Clinical Practice Compliance in CDER.?She received her bachelor's degree and M.S. in Pharmacology from Duke University, where she was an NIH Integrated Toxicology Fellow.
