Dr. Bernhard Glombitza has built a distinguished career in Pharma R&D guided by a visionary leadership style and marked by continuous progression through roles with increasing responsibility in project and people management. He began as a project leader (eg for Xarelto) and advanced into senior leadership, ultimately serving as Head of Clinical Operations for EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. He led globally distributed organizations of up to 1,000 employees across 40 countries, achieving over 25% productivity gains. Currently, he is driving the implementation of the Dynamic Shared Ownership model in Clinical Operations, fostering decentralized decision-making and optimizing talent allocation to deliver impactful and sustainable results.
