Bio:

Chad Adams is a nationally recognized and respected senior officer, advisor and seasoned operations leader capable of guiding the strategic growth and development of complex scientific research. He is an Associate Vice President, and Chief Operating Officer of the HonorHealth Research Institute, responsible for providing primary operations, innovation, strategic oversight and management. He directs all clinical operations activity and oversees company policy and procedures governing patient care and scientific, financial and community benefit success. Adams is responsible for budget preparation, productivity evaluation, and oversight of administrative issues to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and customer service. Adams has played key leadership roles in both non-profit and for-profit endeavors. In 2015, following a national search, Adams was selected to lead the administrative responsibilities of the University of Arizona Cancer Center, where he oversaw clinical research and clinical trials, and restored programs required by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). In 2013, also following a national search, Adams was recruited by the Huntsman Cancer Institute to successfully help that center become an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. He restructured the clinical trials enterprise and refined operations. Prior to that, Adams worked as the Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance Services for Forte Research (now Advarra), where he helped lead an expansion that resulted in the company becoming the leading Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) vendor in the U.S. He is a highly sought after speaker in academic settings, industry conferences, as well as requests to participate in advisory boards for multiple industry organizations.
