Bio:
Emilio Neto is a clinical research and drug development executive with over 23 years of global experience leading clinical trial operations and country organizations across multiple therapeutic areas. His expertise spans clinical monitoring, program management, therapeutic strategy, and regulatory operations, enabling him to connect strategy with execution in complex global trials.
He currently serves as Global Head of Country & Site Operations at Biogen, where he leads global site and country delivery, including implementation of the EU Clinical Trials Regulation and patient-centric trial execution from Phase I through Phase IV.
Emilio holds a PharmD and an MBA, along with a certification in International Business Management, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, focused on improving representation in U.S. clinical trials.
