Emily Bachman is Vice President and Head of Strategic Business Operations and Execution within Clinical Operations and Quantitative Sciences at Astellas Pharma Global Development. She leads operational excellence, portfolio quality and compliance, global vendor strategy and budget/resource planning, and is a recognized leader in driving large-scale transformational change.
Emily has over 25 years of experience across clinical development and business operations. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles across pharmaceutical and CRO organizations, spanning clinical data management, development operations, and commercial strategy. She also serves as Co-Chair of TransCelerate�s Integrated Leadership Team, advancing cross-industry collaboration and innovation in clinical development.
She holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from SUNY Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ohio University.
