Joshua Ransom, PhD

Dr. Ransom is the Chief Strategy Officer at Areti Health, a leading agentic and generative AI startup for the life sciences and clinical research. Dr. Ransom's career has spanned 20+ years on "big healthcare data" and the development of artificial intelligence for the life sciences, healthcare delivery, outcomes research, and clinical operations.

 

Prior to Areti Health, Dr. Ransom has been an executive at multiple health technology and management consulting firms. Josh co-founded BEKhealth as the Chief Product Officer - leading the data science, customer success, and product organizations. At Medidata, Dr. Ransom served as the head of AcornAI Labs – Boston and as the lead for clinical/RWE product management at Shyft Analytics, a Medidata Company. Dr. Ransom directed the Emerging Technology practice at Quintiles Consulting (now IQVIA) and with McKinsey & Company focused on innovation strategy and commercial strategy.

 

Dr. Ransom holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and Genetics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Josh has published groundbreaking scientific papers on molecular and human genetics in Nature and Cell.
