Bio:

Kaniel Cassady, PhD is an Executive Director of Clinical Science Excellence and Strategy at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where he helps advance the design and execution of high?quality, patient?focused clinical trials across the company's global development organization. He earned his PhD in Immunology and Hematology from City of Hope National Cancer Center and a Master's degree in Bioscience Management from the Keck Graduate Institute. Kaniel joined Regeneron's Hematology Clinical Development organization as Chief of Staff, supporting a period of rapid growth by helping build the team, processes, and clinical pipeline spanning early?stage assets through pivotal programs and global approvals. Building on that foundation, Kaniel has taken on broader enterprise responsibilities, including leading Regeneron's Regional Medical Directors, an international group of physicians supporting global clinical trials, and serving as Scientific Lead for the Development organization's digital transformation efforts. Driven by urgency for patients, Kaniel's work focuses on identifying and removing the bottlenecks that matter most in clinical development. His approach emphasizes simplifying trial design, strengthening execution, and ensuring that new technologies augment, rather than replace, human judgment, enabling scientists and clinicians to focus on the work that delivers meaningful impact for patients.
