Bio:

Melika Davis is the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Clinical Operations at BeOne Medicines, where she leads a global organization of approximately 1,800 associates responsible for the planning and execution of all clinical trial activities. Her organization oversees trial and country/site management, procedure & compliance, global clinical supply chain, and the innovative technologies to support clinical development. With more than 35 years of experience in R&D, including clinical research and quality assurance, Melika is an accomplished drug development leader with a proven track record of building and transforming high-performing global organizations. She has consistently driven operational excellence by improving efficiency, reducing costs, strengthening quality culture, and establishing standards that meet both internal and external stakeholder needs. Known as a collaborative and results-driven leader, she has also advanced capabilities in data transformation, monitoring, and quality oversight. Under Melika's leadership, her teams have contributed to bringing more than 30 products to market worldwide, primarily in Oncology, Vaccines, and Anti-Infectives. She has also overseen large and complex portfolio of up to 1,500 clinical trials annually. Prior to joining BeOne, Melika held roles of increasing responsibility at Novartis and Schering-Plough Research Institute, working across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, transplant, anti-infectives, respiratory, and vaccines. In addition to her corporate leadership and serving on the BeOne Care Foundation, she has been actively involved in professional clinical development associations, as a member and/or speaker in leadership roles across various committees and initiatives, such as DIA, DPHARM, American Thoracic Society, CABS, Milken Institute. Melika has received numerous honors and recognitions, including the Leadership Award and the 2025 Women Worth Watching in STEAM recognition. She has also been featured in Leadership Journal and Reuters Trailblazing Women in Pharma 2025, and was named one of the Top 25 Women Leaders in Biotech by Healthcare Technology Report in 2023, among other publications. Melika holds a master's degree in molecular biology from Texas Woman's University in Dallas, Texas, and a License de Physiologie from the University of Sciences in Nice, France. She is passionate about advancing clinical research and has shared her long-term vision of improving patient outcomes, including efforts aimed at finding cures for complex diseases such as cancer.
