Nadir Ammour, DMD, MBA, is a senior leader in External Engagement and Clinical Innovation, with more than 20 years of experience driving global programs at the forefront of modernizing clinical research. At Sanofi R&D, he leads strategic initiatives that accelerate drug development through cross sector collaboration, digital innovation, and patient centric trial design. Nadir is widely recognized for his work advancing decentralized clinical trials, and digital health integration, including leadership roles in flagship initiatives such as EHR to EDC (EHR2EDC), connected hospital networks, remote/virtual trials and wearable enabled studies. His contributions have helped pioneer new models that reduce patient and site burden while improving trial efficiency and data quality. A strong advocate for bridging clinical research and clinical care, he has been instrumental in shaping collaborative ecosystems involving regulators, academic institutions, patient organizations, and industry consortia particularly through large-scale public private partnerships such as the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI).
