Stacy Hurt, Chief Patient Officer, is an award-winning pharmaceutical leader with more than 25 years of experience driving patient-focused transformation across clinical development. She is known for embedding patient and caregiver insights into trial strategy and execution to improve feasibility, participation, and overall experience. Stacy brings deep expertise in patient engagement and patient-centric trial design, with a strong focus on accessibility and inclusive research approaches that enhance representation and participation. As a Stage IV colorectal cancer survivor and caregiver to a son with an ultra-rare genetic chromosome abnormality and disabilities, she offers a powerful dual lived-experience perspective that informs her work to reduce burden and improve retention in clinical trials. A recognized patient advocate, Stacy has been honored as part of Fierce Pharma's Fierce 50 and PM360's ELITE 100, and is a frequent speaker and industry influencer who serves on the DIA Global Annual Meeting Program Committee.
