Bio:

Stephan Cichos has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in Clinical Data Management (CDM). Currently, he serves as Strategic Project Lead for Transformation within Clinical Data Strategy & Operations at Bayer. He is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the efficiency and evolution of clinical data management, with a focus on end-to-end processes, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. He is passionate about leading and contributing to several strategic activities, including Electronic Health Records to Electronic Data Capture (EHR2EDC), Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM), Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCTs), the integration of Digital Health Technologies, and initiatives that prioritize site and patient engagement. He is actively involved in TransCelerate initiatives (Optimizing Data Collection and EHR Connectivity) and the EU Innovative Health Initiative (IHI), where he leverages his expertise to drive collaboration and deliver meaningful, industry-wide advancements.
