Susan Spellman

Bio:
Susan Spellman has built a distinguished creative career as a fine artist and illustrator. She has illustrated more than 40 children's books and magazines, with several recent works receiving national and regional awards. In addition to illustration, she is an accomplished painter whose work has been exhibited across New England, particularly on the North Shore. Susan is also an experienced art instructor and visiting artist, sharing her expertise in drawing, watercolor, and book illustration with schools and community organizations. Susan has been living with metastatic breast cancer since her diagnosis in 2021 and is currently receiving treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she has participated in two clinical trials. She is now being treated with Enhertu and is seeing positive results.
