Taylor Uttley, MS

Bio:

Taylor Uttley is the Head of the Global Clinical Operations Digitization Strategy Center of Excellence (COE), at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where she has worked for over 17 years. She has developed her career across both clinical operations and technology / AI domains at Vertex and held several roles of increasing responsibility in trial operations at Vertex. Ms. Uttley has applied innovative strategies as an operations program lead to multiple rare disease programs, where her teams have achieved industry leading speed in execution. In addition, she spent 5 years as the Head of AI Strategy and Operations for the corporate data science team, where she leveraged her deep expertise in development execution to identify opportunities to deploy machine learning and AI for business efficiencies and decisions in clinical trials, commercial and other areas. In her current role, she leads the GCO Digitization Strategy COE and is responsible for driving the implementation of transformation initiatives that enhance clinical trial and development operations within GCO and cross functional collaborates. The COE focuses on end-to-end process transformation and strategic applications of AI and technology to drive impact and ROI.
