Tobias Theiler

Bio:
Tobias Theiler is currently Head of Human Factors and Medical Affairs at Ypsomed AG, where he leads the integrated functions of Medical Affairs, Human Factors, and Scientific Evidence Generation. In this role, he drives the scientific strategy for Ypsomed’s self-injection systems, bridging clinical needs with user-centric design. Before joining Ypsomed, Tobias built a background across the medical device sector, working in leading systems engineering roles for more than a decade at Biotronik, Abbott Medical, and Ypsomed AG. Tobias holds a doctorate in Medical Sciences (Dr. rer. medic.) from RWTH Aachen University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum. His academic research focused on active cardiac implants and electrophysiological pathology. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in these fields.
