While use cases are expanding across design, feasibility, monitoring, and review, most organizations lack a clear framework for deciding what is ready to scale. This interactive session will pressure-test a practical Enterprise AI Readiness Scorecard, covering value, data, context of use, risk tiering, GxP controls, human oversight, adoption, and site/patient impact. The focus: what must be true for AI to be trusted, adopted, and deployed at scale.
- Defining enterprise AI readiness in the context of clinical development and distinguish it from AI experimentation or tool adoption
- Identifying the readiness capabilities required to move AI from pilot to production across clinical operations
- Applying a context-of-use and risk-based lens to AI use cases in clinical trials
- Recognize common failure modes that prevent AI from scaling, including weak data foundations, unclear ownership, insufficient validation, poor workflow integration, and lack of user trust
- How a practical readiness scorecard can help evaluate whether an AI use case is ready for broader deployment
